SwiBot-StampProduct cancelled in 2003Ce document en français Available now, the Swibot-SST uses an additional PIC to avoid the problem of programming in Basic the stepping motor, the buzzer and the IR control. Simplicity of the Swibot will surprise you. Low cost and no penalty in flexibility. Just smaller, more convenient to carry and show your friends. A wonderful application for your BS1, BS2 or BasicX-24, if you have one or intend to buy one. Play with an easy Basic on a jewel robot. Assemble it in one hour, put your Stamp on the socket, make it move, and when you wish, add your own extensions on piggy-back boards. Swibot-ST is delivered without the easy to get Stamp BS-1, BS-2, or BS2-SX
processor modules. These modules are available from many sources, at bargain
prices. You can program the Stamp to step the motors and blink the two
LEDs. With the BS-2, you get 8 extension lines on a connector, to do your
own experiments. Compare with other Stamp robots: Swibot-ST does the same
at a much lower price, and you will save a lot on the 9V batteries: Swibot
can run for more than 10 hours on a standard low cost cell.
Swibot-Stamp is available (without Stamp) for only Stepping motor controlSeveral documents from Parallax and on Web (Schaun links), provide detailed explanations on how to program a stepping motor in Basic.
