There are good ideas to take from Arduino, but after de first steps, we encourage a way of programming closer to the industrial way of developing in C language. Follow our links 4years ago, we developed the Pic board Dev877 and the DidelBot makes it easy to understand programming and interfacing in assembly language. We still support it.
