Left button for On/Off
Middle button for different units
Right button for zero weight

Note that for weight less than 0.03g, the balance will decide it is zero and set a zero. Put a 1-10g weight and read the difference for very low weights

It is possible to measure negative forces, useful to measure the lift force of a magnet or the propeller force transmitted by a lever.

Calibration procedure for Amput 425
1. Under the power is off press the MODE key, hold the MODE key and then at the same time press the TARE key.
2. Press the TARE key once again and the display will show "0,0". Gently place a weight with the full capacity at the weighing platform and then press the TARE key again until the display shows the full capacity value
3. Press the TARE key to turn off the scale and to keep the memory.
The calibration procedure is now complete. If the weighing result is not correct please repeat the procedure.

Experience show the precision is better than 1% without calibration. For the low weights we are interested, this is usually acceptable.
